YEARS 1 AND 2

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY:
Year 1 & 2 will participate in FunSticks. Funsticks is an 8-week hockey programme designed for children aged 5-6 years (School Years 1 & 2)

COMPETITION DAY:                 
Saturdays

2025 COMPETITION DATES:           
​​​​​​​There will be 8 sessions in Term 2 starting Saturday 3rd May and running until 28th June (no session during Kings Birthday weekend). 

TRANSPORT:                           
Make own way to games and trainings with parents

COMPETITION TERMS:
Term 2

LOCATION OF EVENT:
National Hockey Stadium, Newtown

EXPECTED TIMES:
10am - 11am

UNIFORM:
PE gear, blue playing socks, turf shoes, shin pads, mouth guard and hockey stick (Junior combo kits can be purchased from Sporting Edge www.sporting edge.co.nz)

COST:
$110 (If kids just want to have a go for a few sessions they can pay $15 per session to the coach on arrival)
